Fleet snapshot of September 28, 2026. Prices and availability change daily — the live list below is current.
Split is the one Croatian base where the city is part of the charter. The marinas — ACI Marina Split, Marina Split, Marina Zenta and Marina Nava — sit either side of the peninsula a short walk or taxi from Diocletian's Palace, so a night in the old town before or after the week is easy to add.
The fleet here is different from the rest of the region. Alongside sailing yachts there is a large share of motor yachts and a gulet fleet, and prices run higher than in Trogir or Kaštela: the median is around €360 a night. Split is where most skippered and fully crewed weeks in central Dalmatia begin, as well as fast motor-yacht day trips to Brač, Hvar and the Blue Cave on Biševo.
Leaving Split means crossing a busy harbour approach, with ferries and fast catamarans running to the islands throughout the day. Supetar on Brač is only about 5 NM across the channel, and Rogač or Nečujam on Šolta's north coast are not much further, so the first night can be a short hop. A skipper who knows the harbour makes the Saturday departure and return noticeably easier.

Why charter from Split rather than Trogir or Kaštela?
Split suits crews who want the city as part of the trip and those looking for a motor yacht or a crewed gulet, which are more common here. For bareboat sailing, the nearby bases usually offer quieter departures.

Yes. Many of the motor yachts and all of the gulets are offered with a skipper or crew, and a skipper can be added to most sailing yachts.
Is the harbour at Split difficult to leave?
It is busy rather than difficult. Keep clear of the ferry lanes, watch for fast catamarans and plan to arrive back before the evening rush on Friday.
