AnchorQueen — Terms of Use

SAFETY-CRITICAL WARNING: AnchorQueen is designed for situational awareness and recreational planning support only. It is not a replacement for official government-approved nautical charts, official ENCs, or professional navigation equipment. The skipper is solely responsible for the safe navigation of the vessel.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using AnchorQueen (the "Application" or "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Application.

2. License Grant

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable, limited license to use the Application on devices owned or controlled by you, strictly in accordance with these Terms and applicable store rules.

3. Usage and Safety Disclaimer

For informational use only: Nautical charts, soundings, and routes are compiled from public and third-party sources. Depth, coastline, hazard, and seabed information can change.
Skipper responsibility: Marine navigation is inherently dangerous. Maintain a proper lookout, cross-reference official sources, and exercise prudent seamanship at all times.
Alarms and notifications: Anchor-watch drift detection depends on device GPS, battery management, and operating-system scheduling. Signal loss, background termination, or hardware failure may prevent an alarm. Never rely on the app as your sole safety measure.

4. Subscriptions and Digital Purchases

Premium chart regions, depth-aware routing, AI capacity, and other advanced features may require a subscription or separate purchase.

Billing: Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play billing system for your device. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends.
Cancellations and refunds: Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds follow the applicable store's policies.

5. User Accounts

You may create an account using email or supported third-party providers to synchronize eligible data and entitlements. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. Request account deletion in the app or by emailing privacy@anchorqueen.com.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANCHORQUEEN, ITS DEVELOPERS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES—including vessel loss, property damage, personal injury, or death—ARISING FROM USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without regard to conflict of law principles.
