Genoa International Boat Show
Six days on the Waterfront di Levante, rebuilt to a design by Renzo Piano, with boats along new quays and canals and the rest of boating ashore. An independent visitor’s guide, and a sail down the Riviera di Levante to Portofino.

What to expect
- Five themed areas in one show: Yacht & Superyacht, Sailing World, Boating Discovery, TechTrade and Living the Sea.
- New for 2026: the Blue Arena in the Palasport, a free-entry area for sailing, foiling and dinghies.
- Boats in the water along the new quays and canals of the Waterfront di Levante.
Plan your visit
- Open every day from 10:00 to 18:30, 1 to 6 October 2026, at Piazzale Kennedy 1.
- Tickets were cheaper online than at the gate, with reduced prices for under-25s. The Blue Arena needs no ticket.
- The Waterfront is within walking distance of the centre, so keep an evening for the old town and the Porto Antico.
Sailing nearby: Portofino
Portofino is about 13 nm east of the Waterfront, past Punta Chiappa and the cliffs of the Portofino promontory, with Camogli and San Fruttuoso on the way.
The promontory is a marine protected area. In zone B anchoring is banned and boats must use the park’s mooring buoys, which are booked in advance through the park; the 2026 rules set the buoy season from April to September, so in show week expect fewer options and check before you go. San Fruttuoso has buoy fields on both sides of its bay.
Checked October 2026; confirm the current rules with the AMP Portofino office.
