Fleet snapshot of September 28, 2026. Prices and availability change daily — the live list below is current.
Poland is one of Europe's big inland sailing markets. Most of the fleet sits on the Great Masurian Lakes in the north-east, where a string of large lakes linked by short canals gives days of sailing on sheltered water. Sailing yachts make up the large majority, alongside houseboats, motor yachts and motorboats, and night prices start from €49.
Masuria is the heart of it, with bases in Giżycko, Wilkasy, Bogaczewo, Piękna Góra, Węgorzewo, Mikołajki, Stare Sady and Ruciane-Nida. On the coast, Gdańsk, Kołobrzeg and Szczecin serve a smaller Baltic fleet, from the Bay of Gdańsk to the Szczecin Lagoon.
The season runs from May to September, with July and August the busiest. Masurian yachts are typically compact cabin sailboats with shallow draft and a mast that can be lowered for bridges, well suited to the lakes and to family crews. Winds on the lakes are usually moderate, but summer thunderstorms can build quickly, so keep an eye on the forecast and have a sheltered bay in mind.

Questions about chartering here
Do I need a licence to charter a yacht in Poland?
For bareboat charter the skipper should hold a recognised sailing licence, and the operator will confirm what is accepted for a given boat. If nobody on board holds one, many boats can be chartered with a skipper.
Where should I start a charter in Poland?
Giżycko and nearby Wilkasy and Bogaczewo hold the largest share of the fleet and sit in the middle of the lake system, so both the northern lakes towards Węgorzewo and the southern ones towards Mikołajki are within reach. For Baltic sailing, start in Gdańsk or Szczecin.
Is Masuria good for beginners?
Yes. The water is sheltered, waves stay small, and harbours are close together, which makes it a popular place to learn. The main hazard is a sudden thunderstorm in summer, so reef early and head for shelter when one is forecast.
How many charter boats are available in Poland?
741 boats are based in Poland in our latest fleet snapshot, from operators including Okej Czarter, Liberty Czartery, Topiko Czarter.
How much does a yacht charter in Poland cost?

Which boat types can I charter in Poland?
