Fleet snapshot of September 28, 2026. Prices and availability change daily — the live list below is current.
Bulgaria is the Black Sea option on the charter map — a small and unusual one. The fleet is around 20 boats, a mix of sailing yachts, motor yachts, a catamaran and a few motorboats, and it is based around Sozopol, an old fishing town on a rocky peninsula at the southern end of Burgas Bay.
Sailing here is different from the Mediterranean. The Black Sea coast is fairly straight, with few islands, so a charter tends to be a day trip or a short coastal cruise rather than an island-hopping week. From Sozopol, boats visit the small islands just offshore, the beaches and coves to the south, and the old town of Nessebar on its own peninsula across Burgas Bay.
The season is shorter than further south, from June to September, when the sea is warm and conditions are most settled. Weather can change quickly in the open sea, and harbours are further apart than on the Adriatic or Aegean, so a skippered charter is the most common choice. Burgas airport is the nearest to Sozopol.
