Fleet snapshot of September 28, 2026. Prices and availability change daily — the live list below is current.
Belize sits behind the Belize Barrier Reef, the longest in the western hemisphere, and the water inside it is shallow, warm and protected from the ocean swell. Hundreds of small cayes and mangrove islands dot the lagoon, which makes it well suited to catamarans — and the fleet here is entirely catamarans.
The two bases are Placencia in the south, the larger of the two, and Cucumber Beach Marina near Belize City. From Placencia, a week usually explores the southern cayes and the reef edge, with snorkelling and diving straight from the boat; from Belize City, the northern cayes such as Caye Caulker and Ambergris Caye are within reach. Belize also has the offshore atolls, such as Turneffe and Glover's Reef, for more experienced crews.
Water depths inside the reef are often only a few metres, so navigation is done largely by eye, in good light, with close attention to the chart. The drier season runs from about February to May; the hurricane season runs from June to November, and the late autumn months tend to be the wettest.
